SUMMARY:Yoga and Relaxation with a focus on the Bandhas - yogic energy locks
DESCRIPTION:Energy locks are a method used in yoga to harness and move energy in specific areas within the body .   In this class we will be focussing on the Mula Bandha which is known as the Root Bandha.  For men\, this lock can be located around the  area between the anus and the testes\, for women by contracting the muscles at the bottom of the pelvic floor behind the cervix. SUMMARY:Rebalance your Body and Mind Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Has last year left you feeling not as much yourself as you could be?  For many of us the pandemic has been a traumatic time  and although it has been very challenging it is encouraging to remember that we do have a natural inclination to heal\, given the right conditions.  To support you in your recovery\, I am offering a 2.5 hour workshop where you will be supported to release your stress and rebalance your nervous system.  In a small supportive group  you will be taken through a range of postures and breath practices which are specifically chosen to support the optimal functioning of your nervous system.  You will learn how the nervous system functions in times of stress and find your way to discover which practices work best for you.  The aim is to have you leaving the session feeling relaxed\, grounded\, with a renewed energy and some knowledge and skills you can put into practice independently.  All participants will leave with a handbook of all the breath and movement practices taught during the workshop

DESCRIPTION:This is a gentle hatha yoga and breath focussed class\, which is suitable for all\, and can be adapted to suit individual needs.  The focus this week will be on letting go\, in both the body and the mind.  We will go  through a variety of static and moving postures for 40 – 45 mins\, and will finish with 10 –  15 mins relaxation at the end\, using the Coherent Breathing technique.
